The Story behind Cookies crumbs and crust

From a young age, I learned how to bake, cook, and work hard, always with a happy heart. My grandmother and my mother shared their love of baking and cooking with my brother, three sisters, and me. Growing up we always had a fun, busy kitchen. Having 4 boys of my own gave me the opportunity to bake for my family and their teachers, baseball teams, and friends. So the love of baking and sharing with others continues!

The name of my business was inspired by my wonderful grandparents, Claude and Clara Hess, who were hard working wheat farmers in South Haven, Kansas. My Grandfather would ask my Grandmother for a cookie, crumb, or crust after working in the wheat fields all day. Sometimes we all just want a cookie crumb or crust!
